2009 SFL Point System for Determining Champion and Final Placement

SFL POINT SYSTEM: The league champion and final team placement standings are based on a point system. Each team earns one point per win for the match play games (8 points possible) Each team earns the following points for their placement in the SFL Championship tournament: 1st place = 8 points, 2nd place = 7 points, 3rd place = 6 points, 4th place = 5 points, 5th place = 4 points, 6th place = 3 points, 7th place = 2 point, 8th place = 1 point, 9th place = 0 points. The team(s) with the greatest combined points from the first round and tournament will earn the league championship. All teams with the same combined points will share the final standings placement Co-Champions or multiple teams tied for a specific place are possible.
